The Temple of Diane
Gallo-Roman remains are still very much in evidence, bearing witness to the important thermal activity of Antiquity. The Temple of Diana, now part of the Town Hall, is exceptionally well preserved and houses an interesting archaeological collection.
The Arch of Campanus
The Campanus Arch, near the former Thermes Nationales d’Aix-les-Bains, bears witness to the Roman period. Built by L. Pompeius Campanus as a tribute to his family, it raises questions about its function: commemorative, funerary or as a gateway to the thermal baths?
